Order Protection
Order Protection is an optional service that provides faster resolution if something goes wrong with your order.
If your package is lost in transit, arrives damaged, or contains a defective item, you can request a replacement through the returns portal or by contacting Customer Service.
Once approved, a replacement is typically shipped within 1 business day.
Orders without Order Protection follow our standard return process.
What can’t be returned?
Most items are eligible for return unless otherwise noted below.
Non-returnable items
- Custom-made or personalized items (unless defective)
- Virtual on-demand classes (non-refundable once purchased)
Items with special return conditions
- Fine jewelry: Returnable within 30 days of delivery only
- Live plants and succulents: Returnable within 30 days of delivery only. Plants are living products and need proper care to stay healthy and thrive
Story of Us / Story of You returns
If your book has not yet been sent to print:
- Within 30 days: Full refund (including shipping) or digital gift card
- After 30 days: Digital gift card only
All user data (including personal information and responses) will be deleted when the order is canceled.
If your book has already been sent to print, it cannot be canceled or refunded unless it arrives damaged or defective. In those cases, it will be replaced or refunded via gift card.
Virtual on-demand classes
Virtual classes are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once purchased.
Return time limit and conditions
Returns must be received within 40 days of creating a return label, or the return may be closed.
If needed, contact Customer Service to reissue a label.
We reserve the right to decline returns or refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, or excessive return activity.

- To the original payment method or as a digital gift card
- Gift recipients will receive a gift card refund
- Refunds to the original payment method are available within 30 days of delivery
- After 30 days, refunds are issued as a digital gift card only
- Most refunds appear within 3–5 business days (up to 10 business days for international orders)
- An email address is required for digital gift cards
- If the original payment method is unavailable, a refund check will be issued to the purchaser
Processing time
Please allow up to 3 weeks for your return to arrive at our warehouse and be processed once it has been sent.
