We work to ship orders quickly and deliver them reliably. Estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout and are based on business days (Monday–Friday), excluding weekends and federal holidays.
When your order ships
Most orders placed before 5 PM ET on business days ship the same day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays ship the next business day.
Some items may require additional processing time before shipment, including:
- Custom or made-to-order items
- Backordered items
Estimated shipping timelines are shown on product pages and during checkout. We’ll also notify you at checkout if your order includes items with extended processing times.
During peak holiday periods, we recommend placing orders early, as carrier delays may occasionally occur.
When your order will be delivered
Estimated delivery dates are provided at:
- Checkout
- In your order confirmation email
- On the Track & Manage Orders page
Please allow carriers until 8 PM local time on the expected delivery date to complete delivery.
Tracking updates may occasionally appear delayed, even while your package is still moving through the carrier network. In most cases, your order will still arrive by the estimated delivery date shown at checkout unless otherwise noted.
Tracking your order
You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.
Please allow up to 24 hours after shipment for tracking updates to appear.
You can track your order by:
- Using the Track & Manage Orders page on our website
- Signing into your Uncommon Goods account and viewing Order History
If your tracking has not updated after 48 hours, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Where your order ships from
Most orders ship from one of our fulfillment centers:
- Brooklyn, New York
- Indianapolis, Indiana
A small percentage of orders—typically custom or made-to-order items—may ship directly from the maker.
Carriers and delivery details
We primarily ship using UPS and USPS. Economy shipping typically uses USPS, and we may also use regional carriers depending on destination.
International orders typically ship via DHL Express or local postal carriers (such as Canada Post for Standard shipping).
Please note:
- We cannot guarantee specific delivery times (for example, morning or afternoon delivery)
- Deliveries generally occur between 8 AM and 8 PM local time
- USPS deliveries to PO Boxes are supported regardless of shipping method
- A signature is generally not required unless the order is high-value or custom-made
