After you design the cover, the next step is Authors & Dedication. The live preview on the left lets you switch between the authors page and the dedication page as you work. The exact printed pages appear on the next step, Review & Approve.
The authors page
The authors page appears near the front of the book under "Written by." You choose which collaborators are listed there. Only collaborators who have joined the book and started contributing can be listed as authors.
To choose who's listed and in what order, click manage authors. From there, you can:
- Search for collaborators by name
- Check or uncheck people to include them, or use select all and clear all
- Sort the list by first name or last name, or drag names into a custom order
Click done when you're finished.
The dedication page
The dedication page is a personal note from you to the guest of honor, up to 800 characters. Write your own, or start from one of the suggested messages, such as "from your friends and family," "warm and simple," or "memory-focused," and edit it however you like.
When both pages look right, click save and continue to move on to Review & Approve.
