We’re dedicated to offering our customers a unique and thoughtful selection of products. We work with suppliers ranging from independent artists to small manufacturers to create items that are made in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
What types of products do you look for?
When reviewing potential products, we prioritize items that demonstrate strong craftsmanship and tell a unique story. We are especially interested in products that are:
- Handmade
- Made from interesting, unusual, reclaimed, or recycled materials
- Designed with originality and creativity
- Aligned with our commitment to social and environmental responsibility
- While we value distinctive design and storytelling, we do not carry products made with fur, feathers, or leather.
What standards do vendors need to meet?
All vendors are required to comply with our Vendor Code of Conduct↗.
At Uncommon Goods, we require that all products we purchase are made by workers who are treated fairly and meet applicable safety, legal, and environmental standards.
We support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and strive to operate in alignment with these principles. We expect our business partners to uphold the same standards.
Do you work with dropship or reseller partners?
We work with a select group of makers whose products are shipped directly from the artist to our customers. This is the only type of dropshipping model we participate in.
All vendor and artist partners are carefully selected and must comply with our Vendor Code of Conduct↗.
We are focused on building Uncommon Goods through direct relationships with our makers and thoughtful curation of our product assortment. Because of this, we do not sell our products to resellers.
We also do not permit our product images, descriptions, or other content to be used on third-party retail sites.
