- Once you are ready to send your book off to press, use the cover editor feature to create a custom cover for your book.
- Navigate to your portal dashboard and scroll to the bottom of the screen. Click "publish your book" to begin editing your book cover.
- The first step to publishing is creating your cover. In the "publish" module, you will first see a screen in which you can update your book title, the author name (which will default to the book recipient, as input at time of purchase), optionally add a cover image (JPG, JPEG, or PNG, up to 5MB), and choose a cover color.
- Book titles can be up to 32 characters, including spaces, and up to 2 lines. For longer titles, the cover editor will automatically format the spacing and line break.
- Click "preview cover" to review your custom cover edits and ensure that they are coming together as you envisioned. This can be especially handy for checking that you like the way your photo looks within the layout. The cover preview will appear as a PDF in a new tab.
- Below are examples of covers created with and without images:
- The cover material is printed card stock with a matte laminate finish.
