We're pleased to share our selection of unique and enjoyable experiences with you. These interactive classes are a great way to pick up a new skill, create some art, or even make something delicious on your own or with friends and family. They also make wonderful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or date nights. Below, you'll find answers to some common questions. Where will my experience take place?
All experiences are held live on Zoom. You'll receive four types of confirmation emails from us:
- An order confirmation email right after you place your order, which includes all purchase information and Zoom details.
- A class details email that arrives shortly after the order confirmation, containing a link to the Zoom meeting and any preparation information.
- An event reminder email with Zoom details, sent about 48 hours before the class, followed by a duplicate reminder 4 hours before the class.
- A thank you email once the class is over.
How can I purchase an experience as a gift?
Simply purchase an Experience and select 'Add Gift Options' in your cart. You can enter the recipient's name, email address, and when you'd like the first email sent. If you'd like to keep it a surprise, just leave this section blank, and we'll send all four confirmation emails to you, so you'll need to share the relevant class information with the recipient.
Download and print a note to let the recipient know that the class is coming up—and that it's worth the wait.
What if I want to give an experience as a gift and don’t know what date works for my recipient?
- If you have a potential date in mind, go ahead and purchase that date. If it doesn't work out, the recipient can reschedule via track and manage orders or by using the unique reschedule link in the class details email.
- If you're unsure, consider getting an Uncommon Goods gift card and include a note mentioning which experience you're gifting them.
Can I invite others to join my class, or do I need to purchase multiple classes?
Each class is designed for 1-2 people per screen for the best experience. If you want to include a larger group, we offer private experiences.
Do you offer private experiences?
Yes! Just email our experiences team for more details. We can often customize most of our current classes to be private experiences (depending on instructor availability). If you have a specific class in mind, let us know. We're always happy to assist you in finding the right fit. Private experiences are perfect for family, friends, and corporate events.
Will I need to buy supplies for the experience?
This varies by class. Some classes provide everything you need, while others may require additional materials. You can check what's needed on the class item page. For instance, our Mixology classes require fresh fruit and other ingredients you'll want to pick up at your local market.

I received the wrong thing. I got peanut butter and was suppose to get a weather cloud
I bought the mushroom making log and not one mushroom has shown itself. I bought this for a Christmas gift for my daughters boyfriend.
