What is Uncommon Perks and how do I sign up?

With Uncommon Perks, you get unlimited free standard shipping for the year! Free standard shipping applies to all US orders (including Alaska and Hawaii!) for all items big & small.  International & corporate orders are not eligible for Perks benefits.

Members also receive $10 off 1-3 day shipping, Uncommon Goods Perks credits throughout the year, special Perks Days offers, and double donations to our Better to Give partners!

How do I get free Perks shipping?

To get free Standard shipping, sign in to your Uncommon Goods account and choose the Perks Free Shipping option at checkout.

Help! I'm a Perks member & don't see free shipping at checkout.

Perks shipping should be an option when you get to the ship method portion of checkout. Try the troubleshooting steps below if you can't apply your Perks:

• Log out and back into your Perks account.
• Refresh your browser or use a different browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.
• Clear your cache or search history (this will empty your shopping cart).
• Reset your password from HERE.

When do I get Perks credits?

Paid Perks members receive two credits per year: one upon sign-up and one six months later. These credits are sent to the email linked to your Perks account. You can also access your unused Uncommon Credits online by logging into your Uncommon Goods account and navigating to your Uncommon Credits page.
 

Example: If you sign up for your free trial on January 1 and do not cancel, you will be charged for a full membership on January 15 and you will receive your first credit on January 16. You'll receive another credit six months later and an additional credit every six months as long as you're a Perks member.

What if I forget to use my credit or apply free shipping?

Don't worry! We'll refund your shipping fees (up to the cost of Standard shipping) or the value of your unused and canceled Uncommon Credit. Please email us your Uncommon Credit code and/or email associated with your account, and order number.

Does Perks renew automatically? 

Yes. Perks renews automatically every 12 months once you become a paid member. We’ll send a reminder email a month before your annual renewal. You can also see when your account is set to renew from your Uncommon Goods account; just login and navigate to your Perks Membership account page!

If you signed up for a free trial, your membership starts after 14 days (unless the trial is canceled) when you are charged the annual fee.
