We value your safety.
We work hard to make sure that the product you purchase from us is safe to handle. We make sure that the product we carry is lead-free, or is in a form that won't be harmful to you or your family.
Baby and children's products:
None of our baby or children's products contain lead. We obtain certification of this from our individual vendors, and we perform independent lab testing to ensure our vendors' claims are valid.
Glassware:
In compliance with all federal and state safety regulations including California's Proposition 65, we use lead-free inks for printing on all our drinkware items. Lead-free inks are slightly less durable in a dishwasher, which is why we recommend hand-washing for these glasses.
Recycled metal products:
While the vast majority of our recycled products are lead-free, some of our wall art or wearable art may contain trace levels of lead. Because of the scarcity of the mineral and the way that the product is used (not for food consumption or directly on your skin), we may opt to sell some products with trace levels of lead. When these items ship to California, they will arrive with a warning regarding lead content.
Stadium Seat items: we are required to have the disclaimer that the paint used on the old stadium seats could contain lead. This is in compliance with California Proposition 65. These items are made with salvaged one-of-a-kind materials, so we could not verify the exact composition of all of the materials used.
