What are my international shipping options?
You will be quoted a specific delivery timeframe at checkout, based on your destination country and the shipping methods available for the items you are purchasing.
International orders placed at Uncommon Goods and processed by Flow will deliver directly from our warehouse, unless your shipment includes a custom or made-to-order item. Once your order ships from our warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Custom and made-to-order shipments will ship directly from the maker to our international shipping hub in New Jersey. They will receive an international shipping label and be handed off to the carrier for final delivery.
How much does international shipping cost?
International shipping is calculated based on a number of factors including the desired service level (Standard/Express), the number of items being purchased, the weight of the items and the destination country. International shipping will be calculated and guaranteed during the international checkout based on the items you are purchasing and your shipping destination.
You have the option of pre-paying duties and taxes at the time of purchase or upon delivery. We've found that most customers prefer to pre-pay these fees to avoid the hassle of arranging for payment before the package is released to them or their gift recipient. If you choose to pre-pay, duties and taxes will be combined in one fee.
Which shipping carriers do you use for international shipping?
We primarily use DHL Express for Express shipping, and Standard orders will typically ship via Landmark Global and be transferred to a local carrier once the package arrives in your destination country.
Are there any items that cannot ship to my country because they are restricted?
If for any reason, there are any items that cannot be exported from the U.S. and/or imported into your country, you will be notified during the checkout process. Items that are restricted include food, seeds, some glassware, fragile items, and large, bulky items.
Do you ship furniture or other large items internationally?
International shipping restrictions prevent us from being able to ship over-sized items to some countries outside of the U.S. Restricted items will be noted during the international checkout process.
What is the general timeline for international shipments?
Currently, there is no general timeline. Each country will vary. The best thing to do is to view all your shipping options at checkout, which will provide the most accurate and up to date information.
