Duties and taxes
Duties, or customs tariffs, are established by the customs authorities of the destination country. They depend on factors like where the goods come from and how they are classified. The destination country also sets tax rates, including Value Added Tax (VAT). You can see the total duties and taxes/VAT for your order during the international checkout process. It's possible for duties and taxes to be combined when you make your purchase.
Exchange rates
Foreign exchange rates are determined at checkout and are based on interbank rates of exchange. These rates correspond with the average aggregate exchange rates that would otherwise be applied in an e-commerce transaction. Uncommon Goods updates exchange rates on a daily basis. You will receive a message if exchange rates have been updated while you are shopping.
Payment
Right now, Flow offers traditional payment options such as Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal, along with alternative payment methods based on the destination country.
The total displayed in checkout will be the exact amount you're charged and will show on your statement as ‘Flow*UncommonGoods'. There will never be any additional costs billed upon delivery or due as C.O.D. charges.
